Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented pot washer to join our restaurant team. The ideal person will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our establishment. This position is particularly suited for individuals with experience in the hospitality sector, including restaurants, hotels, or culinary environments. As a Cleaner, you will ensure that all kitchen, restaurant and serving utensils are spotless and welcoming.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation areas by maintaining cleanliness and organisation. Wash and sanitise all dishes, cooking equipment and assist in cleaning the kitchen environment. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure that cleaning schedules align with food preparation needs. Manage cleaning supplies effectively and report when stock is low.

Experience

Previous experience in a pot-washing role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with kitchen environments, food preparation practices, and culinary settings is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour
