We are seeking a professional and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in various software applications, and a keen attention to detail to ensure the smooth operation of our front desk.
Duties
Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
Answer incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
Manage the scheduling of appointments and meetings, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
Perform data entry tasks accurately, maintaining up-to-date records in our systems.
Handle clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and preparing documents as needed.
Utilise QuickBooks for basic financial transactions and record-keeping when required.
Maintain an organised front desk area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
Assist with administrative tasks using Google Suite applications, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Calendar.
Provide support to other departments as necessary, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience in an administrative or receptionist role is preferred.
Proficiency in computerised systems with strong data entry skills.
Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A good understanding of office procedures and practices is beneficial.
