Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional service while ensuring that all front-of-house operations run smoothly. Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations efficiently. Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards. Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Assist with catering events as needed, providing support in food preparation and service. Uphold high standards of hospitality throughout all interactions with guests.

Skills

Previous experience in a front-of-house role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Experience in bartending or beverage service is necessary. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. A friendly disposition with a genuine desire to help others enjoy their dining experience.
Hourly rate will vary due to age, advertised rate is for aged 18+
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 11.44-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
