As a Front of House Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our visitors, playing a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our front-of-house activities.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing them with exceptional service and assistance.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise guest flow.
Answer queries regarding the menu, services, and facilities with confidence and knowledge.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, ensuring it is presentable at all times.
Assist in managing customer feedback, addressing concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
Support administrative tasks such as taking orders, processing payments, and updating records as required.
Requirements
Previous experience in a customer-facing role is advantageous but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is key.
Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
