Moo Moo's Play Cafe is a boutique family-friendly cafe in the heart of Cobham, offering high-quality coffee, delicious cakes and treats, and a welcoming play space for little ones. The Role

We are looking for an experienced

Front of House team member who is also barista-trained

to join our friendly weekend team. This role is perfect for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys working in a lively family setting, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and top-quality coffee.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding front-of-house service with a friendly and professional attitude. Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffees and hot drinks to a consistently excellent standard. Welcome customers, take orders, and manage payments confidently and efficiently. Oversee smooth cafe operations during service, maintaining a clean, organised, and inviting environment. Ensure all food and beverage service areas meet food hygiene and safety standards. Support in basic food preparation and plating when required. Manage customer flow and seating, ensuring guests have a positive and enjoyable experience. Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations. Contribute ideas and energy to help make Moo Moo's Play Cafe a vibrant, welcoming place for the community.

About You

You have

previous front-of-house and/or hospitality management experience

. You are

barista trained

, with a passion for quality coffee and customer care. You hold a

valid Food Hygiene Certificate

(Level 2 or higher). You are friendly, confident, and thrive in a people-focused environment. You're proactive, reliable, and take pride in your work. You're happy to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team. You have great communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.

Hours & Availability

Saturday and/or Sunday: 8:30AM - 5:00PM. Additional shifts may occasionally be available. This is a

long-term, permanent weekend role

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 20 per week
