Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House/Barista Staff to join our vibrant team. As a vital part of our establishment, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service and a warm welcome. This role requires individuals who are passionate about hospitality, good coffee and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring all details are noted. Make drinks to order including bubble teas, coffees, milkshakes and smoothies. Pack bakes and assortment boxes. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including the counter, display, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Assist the kitchen staff with simple food preparation if required.

Requirements

Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills to engage with guests and team members effectively. A willingness to assist in food preparation tasks as needed.

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 32 per week
