We are looking for a FOH Break Officer to join us at our client site in London. Our client is one of the largest pedestrianised communities around, with modern offices, retail, food and drink outlets all in one place. Alongside this are modern gardens giving the site a unique feel.
As a FOH Break Officer you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.
This role will be responsible for delivering the command-and-control function using control room systems, processes and procedures at any client based control room. You provide a proactive and effective security over watch of the assigned client buildings and public realm.

A typical day in the life as a FOH Break Officer:
Assist the PMT and Portfolio Supervisor to deliver a first class meet and greet and hospitality focused service for all Front of House areas
To deliver first class hospitality, meet and greet services ensuring that occupiers and visitors are always welcomed but subject to security measures.
Ensure that all incidents are reported and responded to in accordance with policies and procedures
Ensure everyone in your area of responsibility behave and work in safe manner
Maintain an exceptional awareness of security in and around you post looking out for hostile reconnaissance, suspicious behaviour, or packages. Be prepared to challenge, report or call-in support always
Ensure front of house access and egress is always free flowing and that all doors or equipment are working. Keep a close eye on carpets and wet floors ensuring there is no danger to people
Remain flexible regarding position on post and be very aware of maintaining a professional yet welcoming body posture and smile
Ensure that all equipment is monitored and reported if defective in accordance with policies and procedures.
Compilation of all incident reports when requested.
Ensure building access to those authorised is provided once checked.
Carry out searches if required, Patrols, Access Control, and other reasonable management requests in a professional manner.
Communicate and co-ordinate through chain of command
Maintain a secure and comprehensive control of the access and egress in the given area
Complete and satisfactorily achieve annual skills assessments for the role including Delight training
Provide interface between Property Management and WJ Portfolio Supervisor
Work with the Training Manager to complete all training
Produce daily/weekly reports, statistics and documentation relating to the activities of your area of responsibility.

The ability to communicate with subordinates, colleagues, clients, contractors, and management in the appropriate manner
Demonstrate the ability to effectively deal with incidents with demonstrable resilience and self-control
Excellent customer engagement skills with excellent verbal and communication skills
Experience with security surveillance and access control systems
High level of attention to detail, timekeeping, and ability to prioritise time effectively
An understanding of the principles of equality and diversity in relation to security staff
The ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance
