Join the Team at The Wild Boar - Part-Time Role (Front of House, Creative Support & Admin)

The Wild Boar is a proper traditional boozer, full of heritage and proudly known for its cosy atmosphere, top-quality cask ales, and friendly community feel. Since taking over six months ago, me and the team have worked hard to keep everything our regulars love, while gently enhancing the offer.

We've expanded the drinks range to include craft beer, premium spirits, and a solid no/low alcohol selection. Our new food menu is small but high quality, pub classics done well, and it's picking up a strong following, so we're serving more and more evenings each week.
And we've still got so many more ideas to come!

Now, we're looking for a part-time team member

to support both front-of-house and back-of-house tasks. It's a varied role that mixes classic pub work with creative and admin elements, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to be part of a growing, independent business.

The role includes:

Welcoming and serving guests behind the bar Supporting food service and helping the kitchen team when needed Creating or assisting with social media content (no experience needed -- we'll show you how to use tools like Canva, Photoshop or Lightroom) A few light admin tasks (like helping update menus, chalkboards, event listings or invoices) Being part of a positive, collaborative team and contributing ideas

You'd be a great fit if you:

Are 18 or over (due to bar service) Have a warm, friendly personality and good energy Are available to work evenings and weekends Are organised, reliable, and happy to muck in where needed Have a creative spark (even if you haven't used design tools before) Like the idea of helping shape the next phase of a proper independent pub
