Hamara is looking for a Front of House team member to be the warm, friendly face that welcomes our community into the centre. This is an exciting and varied role at the heart of everything we do - perfect for someone who is enthusiastic, adaptable, and thrives in a busy, community-focused setting.
What You'll Be Doing:
Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere
Answering phone calls, taking messages and directing queries appropriately
Monitoring and responding to emails in a professional and timely manner
Managing room bookings, maintaining timetables, and arranging staff cover for events and activities
Providing general administrative support to the wider team
Overseeing Hamara's social media accounts - planning, creating, and scheduling engaging posts
Supporting internal and external communications and promotional campaigns
Keeping the reception and communal areas tidy and well-presented
Maintaining and regularly updating the centre's notice boards with relevant information and community news
Monitoring and replenishing first aid kits, ensuring all contents are up to date and compliant
Supporting the coordination of events and community activities
Maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding protocols at all times
What We're Looking For:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A confident multitasker who can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Tech-savvy, with experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
A friendly, proactive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for community work
Previous front-of-house or customer service experience is desirable
