The Clifton Club is looking for a committed and experienced hospitality professional to join our tight-knit management team.
We are a proactive, bubbly, and hard-working team, so we are searching for someone in a similar mould with a few years' managerial experience in the hospitality industry.
We know many of our Members by name (and vice versa), so ideally, you are friendly, amenable and enjoy building rapport with a swathe of interesting characters. Given our clientele, high standards are expected. We operate a traditional dining service and bar facility alongside a vibrant event calendar for both the Membership and private clients.
We are looking for an adaptable character who can lead a team of front of house staff, manage a fluctuating diary of reservations and events and deliver exceptional service to our patrons and clients. We are offering a full-time, permanent role, 40 hours per week over a balanced rota with shifts that span days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the front of house team to ensure smooth day-to-day service operations
- Supervise and assist with event preparation and delivery
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Train and mentor staff on front of house procedures and develop excellent customer service.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service flow
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Wet stock management to include stocktake, pricing updates and maintaining relationships with suppliers
Experience
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a restaurant and/or event setting
- Strong knowledge of the Food & Drink industry
- Prior experience with cash handling and key holding
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively
- Proficiency in supervising front of house operations, including consistent high levels of customer service
- Experience working closely with kitchen staff
- Personal Licence Holder (desirable but not essential!)

Pay: 32,000.00-34,000.00 per year
