Fancy having evenings off and Christmases off in a fun new vibrant restaurant?

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our new Mondern American Style restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing both front-of-house staff and kitchen operations, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritises food safety and quality.

We are open Mondays to thuradays 8am to 6pm, Fridays and Saturdays 8am to 8pm and Sundays 9.30am to 4.30pm, open 362 days a year.

Duties



Supervise and manage front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and baristas, ensuring high standards of service and hospitality. Oversee food preparation and production processes to guarantee adherence to food safety regulations and culinary excellence. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and quality control in food presentation. Train and mentor staff on serving techniques, menu knowledge, and customer service best practices. Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest inquiries to enhance the overall dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction. Assist in menu planning and development in collaboration with the culinary team.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production processes. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Food level 2 qualification required, level 3 advantageous Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous. Personal licence is advantageous not not essential Exceptional communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
