We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety and quality, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The Front of House Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience while driving operational efficiency.
Duties
Supervise daily front-of-house operations, ensuring high standards of service and hospitality.
Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance their skills in customer service and food handling.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Implement food safety protocols to maintain compliance with health regulations.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction.
Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the front-of-house operations.
Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting dining environment.
Experience
Candidates should have a strong background in the food service industry, with experience in roles such as restaurant management or hospitality management. Key qualifications include:
Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining establishments.
Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production processes.
Experience in staff training, team management, and shift management.
Strong leadership skills with a focus on training & development of team members.
Knowledge of cash handling procedures and inventory control practices.
Experience with culinary arts or kitchen management is highly desirable.
