Position Overview
As Front of House Operations Manager, you will be the visible leader of Reception, Food & Beverage, and Events. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll mentor and motivate your management team, ensuring seamless collaboration and world-class service.
Your leadership style will be proactive and hands-on--working side by side with your teams, setting standards by example, and championing continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead managers and their teams in reception, food & beverage, and events, fostering a culture of excellence
Deliver a warm, personalised welcome and guide each guest through an exceptional stay
Oversee service standards, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail at every touchpoint
Collaborate with chefs and event planners to execute flawless menus and bespoke events
Maintain immaculate presentation of all public and guest-facing areas
Drive team training, performance reviews, and development plans to support career progression
Qualifications
Minimum 18 months of high-level supervisory or managerial experience in a hotel, restaurant, or events environment
Natural leader with strong communication skills and the ability to inspire teams
Exceptional organisational skills and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting
Passion for hospitality, with a focus on delivering personalised service
Hands-on approach: willing to step in wherever needed and lead from the front
