Receptionist

to be the welcoming face of our practice and the steady hand that helps keep our team flowing smoothly.

About the Role

This is more than a

front desk position. You'll be the heartbeat of our daily operations -- greeting patients with genuine care, coordinating diaries, keeping clinicians informed, and ensuring every patient leaves feeling valued and reassured.

You'll work closely with our friendly team, helping us stay organised and patient-focused in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a calm, professional, and welcoming patient experience from arrival to departure. Manage diaries, appointments, and patient communications efficiently. Handle calls, payments, and emails promptly and accurately. Liaise confidently with patients, clinicians, and suppliers. Maintain front-of-house standards that reflect the Evergreen brand -- organised, polished, and friendly. Support colleagues and proactively offer help during quieter moments. Contribute ideas to continuously improve the patient journey.

About You

You're naturally warm, reliable, and take pride in creating great first impressions. You enjoy structure but can handle change. You're assertive when needed and know how to stay composed even when things get busy.

We'd love to meet you if you:

Have strong communication and multitasking skills. Are confident with office systems (Outlook, Excel, etc.). Can manage time and priorities without constant supervision. Bring a "can-do" attitude -- proactive, kind, and steady. Have flexibility to work across both sites (RG6 and RG1) and occasional Saturdays. Hold a driving licence (preferred).
Experience in dentistry is helpful but not essential -- what matters most is professionalism, warmth, and commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience.

The small print..

This role is likely to include both early (7:45 am) and late (6:30pm) days so we can provide flexibility in appointment times for our patients.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 12.75 per hour
