Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing excellent guest relations.
Present menus, take orders, and accurately input them into the POS system
Provide recommendations on food and beverage pairings, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance guest experience.
Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining high standards of service.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for billing.
Assist with opening and closing duties as needed, including setting up or breaking down the dining area.
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.
Familiarity with POS systems
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is desirable but not mandatory.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
