Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary. Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation and presentation, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Support bartending duties as required, including mixing drinks and serving beverages. Participate in catering events, assisting with setup, service, and breakdown as needed. Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to enhance guest experience.

Skills

Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Bartending skills are an advantage, with the ability to create a variety of beverages. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests and colleagues alike. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive approach to help others, ensuring all team members contribute to a harmonious work environment.

Pay: 12.40-13.50 per hour
