Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary. Serve food and beverages with attention to presentation and quality. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Support catering events as required, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly. Uphold high standards of hospitality throughout every guest interaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in catering or barista roles would be advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
