Duties
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary.
Serve food and beverages in accordance with established standards of service.
Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Support catering events as required, contributing to the overall success of special occasions.
Skills
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining high hygiene standards.
Experience in catering or barista roles will be advantageous.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and team members alike.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
