We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team. The ideal candidates will help create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, have a strong work ethic, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
As a newly opened restaurant, we're looking for team members who bring initiative and strong problem-solving skills. The restaurant is currently open four evenings a week (Wednesday to Saturday) and for lunch on Fridays and Saturdays. Rotas are released weekly, with regular shifts prioritised for reliable and committed team members.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer requests are met.
Occasionally assist with food preparation and presentation, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Assist with catering tasks as needed, including setup and breakdown for events.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations.
Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Skills & Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
Availability during the day on Fridays and Saturdays is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure.
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 30 per week
