As part of our Front of House team, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring smooth operations within the restaurant.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere. Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations effectively. Provide menu information and recommendations to guests, showcasing knowledge of food and beverage offerings. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Adhere to food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times. Assist with catering events as needed, providing support during setup and service. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for guest satisfaction. Support bartending staff during busy periods, including drink preparation when necessary.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members alike. A proactive attitude towards helping others, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. Experience in catering or food preparation is an advantage but not mandatory.
