Responsibilities
Welcome and greet guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary.
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards.
Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete satisfaction.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively.
Support catering events by setting up and breaking down dining areas as required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
Skills in catering and serving are highly desirable.
Familiarity with food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are crucial for this role.
