Duties

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary. Serve food and beverages in accordance with established standards of service. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Manage catering services for events, ensuring all requirements are met seamlessly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for resolution and guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Experience as a barista is a plus, showcasing versatility in service roles. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and an occasional evening as required.
