Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary. Assist with food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety standards. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Maintain an organised front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters. Uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with food safety practices. Support barista duties when required, preparing coffee and other beverages to specification.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred. Knowledge of catering practices and food preparation techniques is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. A keen eye for detail, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Familiarity with food safety regulations is essential; relevant certifications are a plus. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn are vital for success in this role.
