Overview

At the Broadway Hotel, Letchworth we are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming environment for our guests and ensuring their dining experience is memorable.

At the Broadway we serve from breakfast till dinner and often have late night events in our Ballroom as well as looking after the guests from the 35 bedrooms above.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and hospitable atmosphere. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary. Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards, maintaining high levels of cleanliness and organisation. Assist with food preparation when required, ensuring all dishes meet our quality standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service. Maintain an organised front of house area, including the dining room, bar, and waiting areas. Support catering events as needed, showcasing versatility within the role.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Skills in catering and food preparation will be advantageous. Familiarity with food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience as a barista or in serving roles will enhance your application. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure are crucial for success in this position. Pay: 10.00-12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
