Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This position involves various responsibilities, including assisting with food preparation, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to the overall hospitality experience in our restaurant or catering environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Assist in food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety regulations. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when needed. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner. Support bartending duties as required, including mixing drinks and serving alcoholic beverages responsibly. Participate in catering events as needed, contributing to the successful execution of services.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as necessary. A passion for providing excellent customer service and creating memorable dining experiences. Experience in bartending or catering is an advantage but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
