We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team at the Blue Ball Inn. The ideal candidates will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from greeting them upon arrival to assisting with their needs throughout their visit.

Duties

Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Take and process orders accurately, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and beverages, including bartending duties when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards. Handle cash and card transactions responsibly while providing receipts to customers. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly. Support catering events as required, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly. Provide assistance to colleagues as needed, fostering a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Bartending experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided. Strong communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests and team members alike. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A proactive approach to helping others and contributing positively to the team dynamic.
