We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and promotions. Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and waiting areas. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control of food items. Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Previous Barista experience is essential, ideally in a high volume coffee sales based role. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Exceptional guest services skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience in serving or kitchen roles is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided. A genuine passion for hospitality and a desire to create memorable experiences for guests. The cafe is open Tuesday - Sunday, the bulk of the shifts for this role will be over the weekend and evenings.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
