Job Summary

We are an independently owned, fast paced family cafe seeking an enthusiastic Front of House Staff. You must also have cooking skills as you may be required to work in the kitchen, to prepare and cook quality food for our customers. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This position involves a variety of responsibilities including food preparation, catering support, and maintaining food safety standards. Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary. Assist with food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety guidelines. Support catering operations by preparing and serving food items as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food delivery. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and catering services is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A positive attitude with a willingness to help others is essential for success in this role.
