A unique opportunity has arisen for a front of house assistant to join our small friendly team. We are looking for assistance in a hands on role at The Invernairne Guest House, a boutique Georgian Guest House, offering luxury accommodation in The Scottish Highlands. In the coastal fishing town Nairn and 15 minutes from The Capital of The Highlands, Inverness.

We are looking for a passionate professional with a positive attitude and work ethic. This is a 'HANDS ON ROLE' that demands a 'CAN DO' attitude with great enthusiasm to get the job done. Ideally with experience in hospitality. With a business of this size and as working owners you need to be able to Multitask and be happy to work in all departments when required. Work ethic is as important as experience as training can be provided.

The position requires:

Excellent communication skills
A willingness to help with menial and repetitive tasks in a spirited manner as necessary, to cover in all areas of the hotel.
Front of house experience would be desirable.

You will also need to demonstrate that you are team players

The duties will be varied and may include cleaning of public areas, stocking the bar, checking guests in and out, offering a visible presence to guests in the evening, ensuring our honesty bar runs smoothly, glasses are cleared, fires kept going etc and guests have everything they need and then closing down at the end of the evening.

In return we are offering: -

5 Nights per week 6pm - 11 pm (sometimes later)

Covering 2 days per week breakfast service and check outs/check ins (included in the 5 days)

Whilst this is a seasonal position, additional hours over the winter, along with accommodation, could be available for the right candidate. Couples welcome to apply but please be aware we can not give days off together.
