Duties
Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
Serve food and beverages in accordance with established standards of service.
Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to enhance guest satisfaction.
Support bartending duties when required, including mixing drinks and serving beverages.
Participate in catering events as needed, providing excellent service in various settings.
Skills
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food safety practices and standards is essential.
Bartending skills are a plus, with the ability to craft cocktails and serve drinks efficiently.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work well within a team.
Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A willingness to assist in various roles within the front of house team, including food preparation and catering support.
