Bean & Grape is a new Cafe-Wine Bar based in Glengormley. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated, part-time Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring that their dining experience is exceptional. The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression. Making and serving specialty coffees. Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations efficiently. Provide menu information and recommendations to guests, showcasing knowledge of food preparation and beverages. Ensuring that you are consistently up-to-date with menu options, specialty coffees, and artisan wines. Take orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Uphold food safety standards throughout service to guarantee the highest quality for our guests. Assist with bartending duties as needed, including preparing drinks and managing the bar area.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is strongly preferred. Bar experience desirable. Strong communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customers. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Previous experience in a licensed restaurant is desired. A willingness to learn about catering services and food preparation techniques. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
