Duties

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer requests are met with care. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Handle catering orders and special events, ensuring all details are managed effectively. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with their choices. Uphold high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the front of house area. Provide barista services when required, preparing coffee and other beverages to customer specifications.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike. Experience in catering or serving roles is advantageous. Familiarity with food preparation techniques is beneficial. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business needs.
