Job Summary

As a vital member of our team, the Front of House Staff will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring smooth operations in our dining and service areas. This role requires a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in catering, serving, and food preparation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer requests are met. Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes served. Handle cash and card transactions responsibly while providing receipts to customers. Maintain cleanliness in the front of house areas, including tables, floors, and service stations. Provide support during catering events, ensuring all aspects are executed smoothly. Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential. Experience as a barista or familiarity with coffee preparation is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well within a team environment. Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and service.
