Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression. Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations efficiently. Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring that all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar staff. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring that all details are executed flawlessly. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally, striving for resolution and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Skills in catering, bartending, or food preparation are advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour are crucial for this role. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A team player who is willing to help colleagues when needed.
