We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. As a crucial part of our establishment, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and providing exceptional service. Your role will encompass various responsibilities that contribute to the smooth operation of our restaurant and enhance the overall dining experience.
Duties
Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, communicating with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
Assist in food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including specials and beverages.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for resolution to ensure guest satisfaction.
Support bartending staff during busy periods by preparing drinks and assisting with service as needed.
Participate in catering events when required, ensuring high standards of hospitality are maintained.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests and team members alike.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
Experience in bartending or catering is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
