We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring exceptional service throughout their experience. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and possess a passion for the restaurant and catering industry.

Please note: this vacancy is for covering maternity leave, but the successful candidate MAY be kept on, once the maternity leave expires, should enough hours be available.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm welcome. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, via an EPOS till system, communicating with the kitchen staff, as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Provide attentive service to guests throughout their dining experience, responding promptly to requests or concerns. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Make drinks, as per our guidelines, such as: various coffees, misc other hot drinks, milkshakes, smoothies, frappes & bubble teas. Answering the telephone, dealing with enquiries, including taking food delivery orders.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for this role. A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset will contribute significantly to your success in this position. Experience in food delivery portals, such as Just Eat, Deliveroo or Uber Eats, would be particularly desirable.

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 24 per week
