Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations effectively. Provide attentive service to guests, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Support catering operations during events, including setup and breakdown of food stations. Prepare food items according to safety standards and ensure cleanliness in food handling. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and beverages. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Assist with bartending duties when required, ensuring proper drink preparation and service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting. A friendly disposition with excellent customer service skills. Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in catering or food preparation is an advantage but not mandatory. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: 7.75-12.21 per hour
