Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest preferences are noted. Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards. Assist in food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front of house and back of house operations. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations to guests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience in serving or culinary roles is an advantage. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional guest service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour. A willingness to learn and adapt within a dynamic team setting.
