Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Assist with food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety standards. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution to enhance guest satisfaction. Support catering events as required, assisting with setup, service, and breakdown. Uphold the highest standards of hospitality throughout all guest interactions.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members. A proactive attitude towards helping others, demonstrating teamwork in all tasks. Experience in bartending is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided as necessary. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: 11.44-12.50 per hour
