The Nut Tree is a family run Pub/Restaurant/Bar - we pride ourselves on great food and drinks served in a welcoming, all inclusive environment!

We are looking for an experienced, friendly and professional persons to join our team. Applicants should be comfortable in all areas of bar/restaurant work - using a barista coffee machine, understand licensing requirements, have a knowledge of common products. Applicants should be comfortable serving and managing multiple tables in on sitting, offering great service at the table for our restaurant guests.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly attitude, ensuring a positive first impression. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality. Assist in food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Manage orders and coordinate with kitchen staff to meet customer needs. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, ensuring a pleasant dining environment. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Applicants must be personable and professional, able to deal with any customer complaints quickly and effectively, knowing when to escalate to management if and when needed. We expect applicants to be able to work effectively as part of a small team, and able to work alone if and when needed, maintaining motivation during busy and quiet periods.

Applicants should be willing to assist in all areas of the pub, be it serving on a busy evening shift, or helping to clean and organise our cellar - we expect everyone to work as part of a team for the collective benefit of the Pub.

Applicants should be able to be flexible with their working hours.

Applicants must have evening and weekend availability.
