What you'll be doing:

As a valued member of our casual team, your tasks will be varied and engaging, potentially including:
Serving our welcoming guests with a smile and taking orders in our bar, restaurant, and cafe areas.
Preparing and serving a range of beverages, from local ales and fine wines to freshly brewed coffees and teas.
Assisting with the service of our delicious food, taking orders, and ensuring timely delivery to tables.
Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of tables and service areas.
Clearing tables efficiently and helping to keep our environment tidy.
Operating the till system accurately and processing payments.
Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any guest inquiries with a friendly and helpful manner.
Assisting with light food preparation and cafe duties as needed.
Collaborating with the wider team to ensure smooth and efficient service across all areas.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with our diverse clientele.
The ability to work effectively both as part of our close-knit team and with initiative on your own.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our busy periods.
A proactive and positive attitude, ready to tackle any task.
While previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or cafe is beneficial, we are happy to provide full training to the right candidates.
A willingness to learn and be adaptable to different roles within The Horseshoe Hotel.
Due to our location, having your own transport or living locally would be advantageous.
