Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks that contribute to a positive dining experience, from managing reservations to assisting with food and beverage service.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Manage reservations and maintain an organised seating chart to optimise guest flow. Provide detailed information about menu items, including specials and dietary options. Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and waiting areas. Support bartending operations as needed, showcasing knowledge of drink recipes and service techniques.

Skills

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in bartending is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided. A proactive approach to teamwork, helping colleagues as needed to ensure smooth operations. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, is required.
