Overview

Destination is a small family run, award winning, Fine Dine Indian restaurant situated in the heart of Slaithwaite. We are currently looking for a talented part-time waiter/ waitress to join out close knit team. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a comminal guest services.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor tables to ensure guests are satisfied with their meals and address any concerns promptly. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Handle cash transactions accurately, using basic math skills for processing payments.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Exceptional guest service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Must have a can do attitude. Must be able to work evenings, weekends , Christmas Day (1pm -5pm) & New Year's Eve. Must be reliable. Great team player. A passion for food and beverage service, along with an eagerness to learn about menu offerings.
