We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our restaurant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service. Your role will involve assisting in various areas, including guest services and food preparation, while contributing to a positive dining experience.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Assist in food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of culinary presentation. Manage the dining area to ensure cleanliness and organisation throughout service periods. Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, striving to provide excellent hospitality. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and maintain smooth operations. Perform basic maths for processing payments and managing transactions effectively. Support team members in various tasks as required to enhance overall service delivery.

Skills

Strong guest services skills with a passion for hospitality. Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous but not essential. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience. A friendly disposition with a willingness to help others, contributing positively to team dynamics. Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: 8.00-13.02 per hour
