The Front of House Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front-of-house team within our establishment. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, maintain high standards of service, and ensure customer satisfaction in a vibrant restaurant or hotel environment.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
Train and mentor new team members on food safety protocols and hospitality best practices.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of food items to maintain quality standards.
Manage customer interactions, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist in scheduling shifts and managing staff workloads to optimise performance during peak hours.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant, hotel, or culinary setting.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is advantageous.
A passion for hospitality with a keen eye for detail in service delivery.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.

This vacancy will include weekend work and the candidate will be hands on from clearing pits/ making drinks/ taking food out/ seating customers. This is a very fast paced job and will require dealing with a staff team and working very hard and being conscientious .
