Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to lead our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional customer service, and a solid background in restaurant or hotel environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee evening operations, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain high standards of food safety and service excellence. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising staff, managing food and beverage service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

This role is evenings Thursday to Saturday 6 to 10/10.30

Responsibilities



Supervise front of house staff, including serving personnel, hosts, and baristas, ensuring smooth daily operations. Oversee desserts preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards. Assist with food production and kitchen coordination as needed, supporting culinary staff. Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to optimise service efficiency. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards across the venue. Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality and customer service. Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally to enhance guest experience. Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area at all times.

Skills



Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hotel environment. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour. Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes. Experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles is advantageous. Familiarity with hospitality operations including serving, barista duties, and general customer service. Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly whilst maintaining attention to detail. Organised with strong multitasking abilities to oversee multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Previous experience in restaurant or hotel settings is highly desirable; hospitality background preferred. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
