We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. Duties
Supervise and coordinate front-of-house team members, including servers, hosts, and baristas, to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Oversee food preparation and serving processes to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
Assist with food production tasks as needed, demonstrating culinary knowledge and kitchen experience.
Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and optimise table turnover to maximise efficiency.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the restaurant or hotel premises.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to uphold excellent hospitality standards.
Support staff training programmes on service techniques, food safety, and hospitality best practices.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and special requests efficiently.
Monitor stock levels of front-of-house supplies and place orders when necessary.
Lead by example in delivering professional service while fostering a positive team environment.
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
Extensive restaurant experience, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food safety procedures.
Knowledge of culinary practices and food production processes; kitchen experience is advantageous.
Experience in hospitality environments such as hotels or bars; barista experience is a plus.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Leadership qualities with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Relevant qualifications in food safety or hospitality management are desirable but not essential.
