Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant tapas bar. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the guest's experience, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality, leadership, and culinary excellence to contribute to a welcoming and efficient establishment.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate front-of-house team to ensure smooth service delivery
Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment
Monitor and uphold food safety standards in accordance with regulations
Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and optimise table utilisation
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area at all times
Support team management through training, mentoring, and performance evaluations
Collaborate with kitchen staff on food production and presentation standards
Maintain a welcoming atmosphere that promotes teamwork and high morale
Requirements
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, serving, and hospitality operations
Culinary experience or background in food safety practices is highly desirable
Excellent leadership qualities combined with organisational skills
Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen experience preferred
Previous hotel or barista experience is advantageous
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills with a professional demeanour
Flexibility to work during peak hours including evenings and weekends as required
