We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our bustling hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising front-of-house staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties

Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including servers and host/hostesses, ensuring smooth service delivery Oversee food and beverage service, including food preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation Assist with food production and kitchen operations as needed, supporting the culinary team in food safety and hygiene practices Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to optimise efficiency and customer satisfaction Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to uphold excellent service standards Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly food safety protocols Train new staff members on service procedures, company policies, and safety standards Collaborate with management on staff scheduling, inventory control, and operational improvements

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment Extensive restaurant experience, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and barista skills is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently Exceptional communication skills with a friendly demeanour towards guests and team members Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous
