We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. Duties
Supervise front-of-house team members, including servers and hosts, ensuring smooth service delivery
Oversee food preparation and presentation in accordance with established standards
Assist with food service, including serving guests when necessary, and support the team during busy periods
Manage reservations and optimise seating arrangements to maximise efficiency
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the premises
Train new staff members in service procedures, health & safety protocols, and customer service excellence
Handle guest enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and delivery
Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and foster a team-oriented environment
Skills
Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
Sound knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes
Experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles is highly desirable
Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving, hospitality practices, and barista experience is advantageous
Good communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Ability to handle guest complaints tactfully while maintaining high service standards
Knowledge of kitchen experience or hotel experience can be beneficial for understanding overall operations
